The Kaddish Service

For over 1,800 years, we have honored our parents by saying the Kaddish — the Jewish prayer for the deceased, spoken publicly as an act of faith, hope, and elevation for the soul.

Kaddish is recited for eleven months after a passing, and thereafter each year on the yahrtzeit — the anniversary of the passing. The ideal is for the children of the deceased to recite Kaddish themselves, three times daily, for those first eleven months. When that isn't possible, or as a supplement, another person can be entrusted to say it in their place.

"It is considered a tremendous merit and source of elevation for the soul of the deceased to have these words expressed publicly."

For your convenience, we've arranged a way to help with this choice, should you wish.
